Hi there, welcome to the debut Spuzzle EP "How to trip like a philosopher". Spuzzle is my side project and is a collab with my friend Puzzle from Brazil.

In ancient times Greek philosophers would fast for many days before tackling feats of extreme physical endurance. This took philosophers into deep states of trance and meditation. A powerful and natural high.

The making of this EP was a feat of extreme endurance! It took a few years of dedication, lots of testing and then final tweaking to perfection.

Spuzzle is a hybrid creature born from the collaborative melting pot that is Weapon Records. When Spoonhead (New Zealand) & Puzzle (Brazil) heard each other's music, it was love at first sound. What has resulted is a fresh new psychedelic fusion of deep-tribal Brazilian rhythms punctuated by finely crafted cutting-edge sound design from New Zealand.

These two producers have been working collaboratively together since the release of WEAPON RECORDS' album "Resurfacing: volume1" in 2017. Over the last 2 years, the tracks on this EP have been secretly rocking dancefloors across many different continents in both Spoonhead and Puzzle's live sets. After each show, when back in the studio, these tracks and have been tweaked and fine-tuned to sonic perfection!
So wrap your ears around this truly multi-cultural progressive psychedelic chunk. And when you've finished, come back and answer me this question: Are you SPUZZLED?
